Crozet Independence Day Celebration

July 4 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Crozet Independence Day Celebration Banner

The Crozet Independence Day Celebration is back at King Family Vineyards – and this year, it falls on the Fourth.

Since 1920, Crozet and our surrounding communities have gathered to celebrate Independence Day together. That’s 106 years of community tradition – and last year, roughly 8,000 of your neighbors joined in!

Saturday, July 4, 2026

5:00PM — PARADE
The Crozet Volunteer Fire Department leads the annual parade down Crozet Avenue.

6:00PM — GATES OPEN AT KING FAMILY VINEYARDS
Live music from Ian Gilliam and the Fire Kings and the Chicken Head Blues Band, plus activities for kids, food, local beer, and King Family wines on the polo field!
9:30PM (or dark) — FIREWORKS OVER THE BLUE RIDGE
A spectacular show to close the night and this year, with even more bang to honor America’s 250th birthday!
This event is FREE and open to the public — and it stays that way thanks to the generosity of our community. A $5 suggested donation per person ages 10+ at the gate helps preserve this tradition for future years. Children 9 and under are free. Cash and credit accepted.
Help us hit our $50,000 goal by donating to The Crozet Board of Trade!
Or Text “CROZET26” to 53555
